Louis Chandler’s family farm in Montross, Virginia, is about 1,200 acres. Crookhorn Nursery encompasses approximately 50 acres. Louis always wanted to be an entrepreneur, to grow something substantial on his homeplace. That’s why he chose to grow trees. So he launched Crookhorn Nursery in 2006. The Crookhorn team is up with the sun, planting trees, checking tree health and irrigation lines and pruning.
